Memebox X Jungsun I'm Meme Back To Basics Lipstick #01 Magenta Heels Review | FAIL

Annyeong, Everyone~
This might be my last blog post before getting busy with school stuffs again.
School is starting in roughly 2 days *major sigh*

I got this lipstick as a gift. I never actually worn it outside because......IT IS BAD.

Only today I found out that this lipstick is from a collaboration line between Memebox and Junsgun, a Professional Korean model. I think this collaboration is not a new one and has been discontinued (I guess?) since the Jungsun x Memebox products are not available anymore on Memebox's website.

What It Is

Formulated with moisturizing oils, this pigmented lipstick glides on smooth and gives a lightweight matte finish without accentuating fine lines.

RM89 (approx. USD 19) at Shoppr (direct product link)

The packaging has a matte feel, which adds to 'feeling and looking chic'. It has 'Back to Basics' and 'jungsun' printed on it.

#01 Magenta Heels

This is the part where it shows that it is bad....

The above swatch is obtained with just one swatch of this lipstick. If I swatch multiple times IT WILL GET CLUMPY.

It doesn't feel smooth, it feels chalky to me.

And when applied on the lips, it is dragging my lips a bit eventhough I applied lip moisturizer, totally not smooth at all.

Pigmentation is there and it doesn't bleed easily. Pigmentation shows better when applied from the tube straight to the lips.

The finish is matte just like it claims.

I don't know if you guess notice but the application on the inner part of my bottom lip is PATCHY and UNEVEN.

Can you see it now?? And oh my cute tooth gap peeking

It also gets dry overtime despite having a lip moisturizer on. It also produces clumps and accentuates on fine lines if you have dry lips.

My Final Thoughts

The lipstick quality is bad and not moisturizing at all considering that it says that it is 'formulated with moisturizing oils", I can't really find the ingredients list actually did not bother to do so.

Maybe because the fact that it is a matte lipstick that makes it not moisturizing? Well, I have tried a moisturizing matte lipstick by brand CP (short form). So yeah, this lipstick just has a bad formulation. Funny that it claims to moisturize the lips AND not accentuate the fine lines. False claims, people.

I wouldn't recommend this lipstick at all because it is drying, chalky, rough, clumpy, dragging and uh what is too bad that the color is gorgeous. One and only thing I like about it is just THE COLOR. I even think of disposing this lipstick but the color makes me want to still keep it. Help me decide, guys!

I personally find the lipstick is quite expensive too (USD 19) for something that doesn't have a good quality. There are cheaper and better matte lipsticks out there, better check them out.

The End~ Thats all for my straightforward review about this lipstick ^^

April Skin Magic Snow Cushion (Black) SPF50 PA+++ #23 Natural Beige Review We all have seen the most popular April Skin Magic Snow Cushion in the past few months, and its popularity is still ongoing until now. I am seeing their promotional pictures and videos literally everywhere, the product is claiming to provide a full coverage with just one layer. Immediate whitening, evening of skin tone and covering imperfections, who wouldn't want that? Of course, just like any other gullible person, I am intrigued by the promotional efforts and always eyeing on the cushio…

Whiteheads, blackheads and pores are such a disturbance to the face! and their developments are just inevitable! If you are looking for a mild product that can improve the appearance of whiteheads and blackheads, continue reading down below! Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Blackhead Out Balm I got the product from a local seller on Instagram. Her IG is naturecarebeauty The quoted actual price by the seller was $12. But I got it for $9 because there was a flash sale! It is stated that the images/texts on the product is printed with soy ink. I find it amusing because I never knew that soy ink can be used for printing! The ink seems to have a good quality too. The box is like made out of recycled paper. I really like the save-the-environment concept. English description, instructions and ingredients of the product. How I wish I can translate this part for you guys At first, I thought the product is a makeup base to cover the pores...but it isn't. It is a massage balm to extract the whitehea…
