January 2017 Empties + Highlights

Annyeong, Everyone~
Wow, how did the very first leg of 2017 went by so fast??
it is already February omg!

Again, I feel so achieved with my empties this month. I emptied + decluttered a total of 17 products this month!!! I think this is the highest record for me haha.
By the way, I store my empties in a plastic bag and rammed through them at the end of the month to publish an empties post.
I think most of us store empties the same way too haha.

Now lets get into it. No need a long introduction for an empties post.

#1 Boomdeahdah Mild Cleansing Oil - blogged. I like it and would purchase it!

#2 Sweet V Aloe Vera Soothing Gel - packaging looks exactly like Nature Republic's Aloe Vera Gel in a tub. I first used it on my face and I feel like it is not doing anything to it, no soothing whatsoever. then I use it on my body and its finish is sticky!!!!!! It is sticky to an extent that it could ball up dirty skin cells yuck.

I didn't empty this and totally won't repurchase despite that it is only around USD 6 or 500ml. Too bad.

#3 Fly Up HD Hydrating Cream - blogged. No

#4 Cosrx Ultimate Nourishing Overnight Spa Mask - blogged. Wanna try the honey one next.

#5 Eyelab Cosmetics M Cleansing Mud - I reviewed the Z version which is for oily skin, you can read about it HERE. The M version is for sensitive skin types. Its texture is similar to the Z ver. except that it is purple in color, it is beautiful and has a bouquet smell! However it gave me spots so I stopped using, I only used it a few times after realizing that it breaks me out. I then tried using it on my body and it gave spots on my back too!!!!!!!

I don't know whats in it thats causing my face and my body to break out. Maybe there is something in it that suits sensitive skin better compared to using it on a non-sensitive skin type. Won't purchase and will avoid.

#6 A:Concept cushion - blogged. Would love to use this again.

#7 Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask - blogged. I said in my previous blog post that I won't repurchase it and my lips doesn't really need the therapy that this lip sleeping mask is giving but now that Laneige has come out with an Apple + Lime flavor, I wanted to get that one (just because I love citrus and apple scented things). Also, it is fun to use because it smells sooooooo good!!!!!! Its delicious smell makes me want to have it again haha.

#8 Mentholatum Lip Ice lip balm - will repurchase forever. A legendary chapstick that does its job, has a cooling sensation and affordable too. Nuff said.

#9 Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer - too bad that I didn't get to use this at all because it expires. Oh well.

#10 & #11 - Oxy 10% Benzyl Peroxide spot treatments - These are declutters. Sometimes they work and most of the times they don't. I don't want to continue using harsh treatments on my skin anymore so I decided to toss them away, they are no use anyway.

#12 Guardian Goat's Milk hand lotion - just okay but not too moisturizing enough for my dry hands. won't repurchase.

#13 Guardian Grape Seed Oil hand cream - I enjoy using this! It smells soooo good and it is moisturizing enough for my hands. I like reapplying this multiple times because it smells so good. Would repurchase! I have the rose flavor too and that too smells divine.

#14 Burt's Bees Almond & Milk Hand Cream - this is what my dry hands reallt needed. its texture is not cream but more like a sorbet/cleansing balm. Highly moisturizing and love reapplying this multiple times during the day too. Would purchase but I don't know where to get BB products here in Brunei.

#15 Holic Aroma Rose Floral Water - I decanted the water into a container to use as a toner. I almost emptied the toner now. It is a good low ph toner and it makes my skin soft. has a musky rose scent. Would purchase.

#16 Holic Aroma Geranium Floral Water - I first loved smelling this through the bottle. Through the bottle it smells like the sweet pina cota/pudding things but when misted it smells like smelly feet. I tried to use it as a toner by pouring it on a cotton pad but oh god I couldn't stand the smell. I poured the remaining in my toilet, mixed with water and it created the delicious pina cota smell again. This thing is weird. I won't purchase but the product itself has been discontinued anyway.

And the last empty.....

#17 Ivy Silk Shine Leave On Hair Moisturizer - I hated this hair gel so much but I kept on using it anyway because I hate wasting!!!!! It is barely moisturizing for my dry hair (I know now hair gels are not the right moisturizer for my hair type. My hair needed oil) even when applying many times at once. No no no.

Andddd thats it! Let me know if any of these products are eye catching to you or if you have used them, I wanna know your experiences with them too!

Now I am going to talk about my Jan 2017 highlights *inserts monkey closes its eyes emoji*

April Skin Magic Snow Cushion (Black) SPF50 PA+++ #23 Natural Beige Review We all have seen the most popular April Skin Magic Snow Cushion in the past few months, and its popularity is still ongoing until now. I am seeing their promotional pictures and videos literally everywhere, the product is claiming to provide a full coverage with just one layer. Immediate whitening, evening of skin tone and covering imperfections, who wouldn't want that? Of course, just like any other gullible person, I am intrigued by the promotional efforts and always eyeing on the cushio…

Tiam My Signature C-Source Review | Courtesy Tiam (sister company of Cosrx!)

Annyeong, Everyone~ Fasting month/Ramadhan is coming to an end soon omg! I feel like this year is the fastest Ramadhan month that I am going through. Time. Flies. So. Fast.

I loved that product, I considered it as my HOLY GRAIL and I am happy to be able to use it again this year!

[REVIEW] Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Blackhead Out Balm

Whiteheads, blackheads and pores are such a disturbance to the face! and their developments are just inevitable! If you are looking for a mild product that can improve the appearance of whiteheads and blackheads, continue reading down below! Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Blackhead Out Balm I got the product from a local seller on Instagram. Her IG is naturecarebeauty The quoted actual price by the seller was $12. But I got it for $9 because there was a flash sale! It is stated that the images/texts on the product is printed with soy ink. I find it amusing because I never knew that soy ink can be used for printing! The ink seems to have a good quality too. The box is like made out of recycled paper. I really like the save-the-environment concept. English description, instructions and ingredients of the product. How I wish I can translate this part for you guys At first, I thought the product is a makeup base to cover the pores...but it isn't. It is a massage balm to extract the whitehea…
