Mizon Collagen Power Firming Eye Cream Review | Affordable anti-aging eye cream

Annyeong, Everyone~
I found my motivation back to do a product review
I was feeling meh yesterday
Probably it is just because pms is around the corner *rolls eyes*

I am going to review my second eye cream from Mizon. In fact, this is the second eye cream that worked for me despite having no tremendous effects. You can read about my first Mizon eye cream review HERE. I have been using this eye cream for quite some time now.

Bought from Beautynetkorea for only around USD 4

Amount: 10ml

Product Description (taken from its box)

Collagen Power Firming eye cream contains highly concentrated collagen to lift wrinkles around eyes while improving skin elasticity

 Directions (taken from box)

Dab a small amount around eyes until absorbed

Pretty squeezable tube with doodle prints~ my favorite one is the giraffe!! So cuteeee

Clear gel that is scentless, suitable for people who are sensitive to strong smelling stuffs, especially if strong scents can irritate one's eyes.

I usually dab a small amount on both of my eyes, I use the 'windshield wiping' motion first to spread the eye cream and then I tap in the cream as if I am playing a piano eventhough I don't until it is fully absorbed.

The cream fully absorbed into my eye areas without leaving any greasy or uncomfortable feeling at all.

Only a small amount needed, I think 10ml will last for a few months. I've been using it everyday day and night and the tube doesn't produce that 'fart' sound yet haha what is this how I described it

Below photo is a demonstration of using the eye cream.

My Thoughts

I have been using this eye cream for while now and I am happy to report that it doesn't irritate my eyes nor causing weird bumps and melilea.

I am not sure if the eye cream is doing anything to my eye areas, it is sooo hard to tell. I mainly use eye creams for wrinkle prevention.

It doesn't feel nor look moisturizing, not that it is its claims either but it is funny that there are quite a number of moisturizing agents in this product such as Sodium Hyaluronate and Honey. Maybe its moisturizing effect is intangible.

I think it does help with firming and anti-aging since I don't develop any fine lines or wrinkles throughout using UMMM NO EYE WRINKLES FOREVER PLEASE. I think the plant extracts in it really do help with anti-aging.

I spot Adenosine and Collagen for firming and elasticity ingredients. I have young eyes so it is hard to tell but I do think it provides elasticity too.

When investigating the ingredients list, I notice that it has quite a number of silicone ingredients (cyclomethicone, dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/
1 dimethicone). If your eye is sensitive to silicones then you can pass on this one.

My Final Thoughts

It is just an okay eye cream to me, no WOW factor in my opinion.

Since my eyes doesn't react negatively to it, maybe I will keep on using this eye cream until I found a better one. It is super affordable anyway.

I am not sure if it will work on really dry areas. My eyes are normal.

- No irritation
- Doesn't cause melilea
- Cheap
- Cute packaging
- Works okay for me
- Absorbs fast
- Firming and anti-aging claims work
- Will last a long time
- makes eye areas elastic

- Not silicone-free to those who are concern
