[REVIEW] Suoleh Love Me White Cream | 슈오레 러브 미 화이트 크림

The newly launched Korean cosmetics brand, Suoleh gifted me their Filling In Love Body Scrub, Love Me White Cream and Skin Renewal Milk Choc Cream 2 weeks ago. I am honored to be able to test out products by this lovely new brand. They only have these 3 products to date. Illustrations on each and every of the product boxes are really pretty. Filling In Love has somekind of trippy feel to it, while the Love Me White Cream has a girly vibe and the Skin Renewal Milk Choc Cream has this 'Goddess' feel due to the light gold + white color, haha. Not only their boxes are pretty, but the actual products are pretty as well. I love all of their looks!

I've been asked to do a review on the Love Me White Cream first. It is an immediate-whitening kind of product.

Pretty girlish box!!!!

Cream has a content of 70ml

Can't find English description on their website at all. Thankfully theres English description and instruction on the pretty pink box!!!! I hope you guys are able to see the white texts ><

Heres what it says;
"This white cream gives immediate tone up and brightening effect on your skin with certified whitening ingredient complex, hydrates the skin and visibly improves its clarity by reducing the appearance of dark skin.
Achieve comprehensive skin protection against skin pollution and sensitiveness. This cypress water and skin purifying ingredients protect and relieve sensitive skin leaving the complexion looking more even-toned and healthy with soothing water formula."

[How to use]
Apply on the entire face softly at the last step of skincare. Use this for your body as well as on face whenever you want to make it bright.

Ingredients list in English. I know white texts on light pink layout can be difficult to read >< its hard for me to read too. I hope you guys are okay with reading the ingredients list without causing any eyestrain! Its too long for me to type.

Theres quite a combination of acids, fruit extracts, botanicals and natural oils. I want to be diligent with my ingredients research and listing the highlighted ingredients but I'm afraid that I don't have some spare time for it now.

I might be making changes to this blog post when I finally have the time to analyse the ingredients.

MFG and EXP date on the bottom of the box. I like it when the dates are printed on the box than on the actual product. I can easily see the dates without having to open the box and search it on the product ----- this is a hard case for me when buying products from stores, the boxes too are sometimes sealed with stickers and plastic.

Light pleasant ginger smell. I am totally fine with ginger smelling stuffs. The smell of this cream makes me crave for an ice cold ginger ale drink.

White lightweight cream, spreads easily, lightly moisturizing and hydrating, not drying for my oily skin, doesn't leave white casts. I think it absorbs fairly well into the skin, it doesn't feel like it is lying on top of the skin and ofcourse, it did give an instant whitening effect and evens out skin tone. The whitening effect isn't too overwhelming and obvious, it appears natural. I applied the cream on the last step of my skincare routine.

Comparison with and without Suoleh Love Me White Cream

I actually did patch testing last weekend prior to using this product on my entire face(I posted about it in my IG story) ---- I didn't actually fulfill on using this product on my whole face. My patch test only lasted for 2 days, and theres a reason to that. Firstly, I applied the cream on my neck and also my whole body. No breakouts on my neck, good. The next day, I started to apply it on my forehead and still applying it on my whole body. I like the fact that my body skin tone has appeared a bit lighter. But then the next morning, I noticed a few weird red small bumps on my skin >< it was on my arm and thighs.

Left pic is my left thigh, right pic is my right arm.
It looked like small pimples and mosquito bites??>< The area around it was itchy too, I tried not to scratch it. I rarely experience this kind of development on my body, I am happy to say that my body has zero skin troubles. It appeared ever since I started using the Love Me White Cream. I knew that it might/is the cause of it, my usual body moisturizer don't give me any irritation.
It may be only a few spots but I choose to immediately stop using it before it gets any worse.

After noticing the spots on my body, I also noticed that I received a pimple breakout on my right temple (I stated above that I did a patch testing on my forehead. I'm not sure if doing a patch test on a forehead sounds weird but I choose to do it there first instead of half of my face because pimples/acne can be easily seen on the area. You don't look at people sideways, don't you? Haha).

Its been almost a week since I stopped using the cream, the spots have disappeared now.

Since it has a long ingredients list, I suspect that some of the ingredients can be irritants. I can be a bit conscious when it comes to products with long list of ingredients.

Final Thoughts
Its a pretty looking cream, it does what it claims, to provide instant whitening and evening out skin tone. Not so much on the hydration side, but its not drying either. Its just unfortunate for me that it irritates my skin. The whitening effect is just temporary, it fades after washing off. I'm unsure if it will make any difference in the skin tone after prolong use.

Now that I won't be continue using it, I might just give it away to my mom. I hope it won't irritate her face and helps to improve her pigmentation.

My rating

LaF Skin 7 Solutions Ampoules x Adventure Time Collaboration Review

Rejoice, Adventure Time lovers!
Ofcourse I was intrigued when I saw this collaboration. To be really honest, I wasn't so interested in the brand before the collaboration come out since their previous packaging looked plain. I guess cute packaging makes it, huh?
I only asked LaF(Lost and Found), the company, about the Jake ampoule (Pore & Calming) since it is related to my skin concern, but they are soooo generous to send me 3 ampoules, 2 sheetmasks and couple of cute Adventure Time stickers!!!!! It was unexpected and my heart's content was (and always) filled with joy when I receive surprise gifts. Thanks, LaF! I use the stickers to decorate my boring laptop.❤

April Skin Magic Snow Cushion (Black) SPF50 PA+++ #23 Natural Beige Review We all have seen the most popular April Skin Magic Snow Cushion in the past few months, and its popularity is still ongoing until now.
