[REVIEW] Ultru I'm Sorry For My Skin Jelly Masks (Brightening, Pore Care, Relaxing & Revitalizing)

I posted this photo on my Instagram sometime around April 2016, these Ultrue I'm Sorry For My Skin Jelly Masks are provided to me by Imine Skincare Korea.
From left to right;
Pore Care, Brightening, Relaxing, Revitalizing

These masks are actually a concept mask where it is helpful to grab one quickly after you have sinned your skin such as;

Pore Care (Dessert) - after consuming a high sugar intake
Brightening (Coffee) - after consuming a high caffeine intake
Relaxing (Smoke) - when you are an avid smoker
Revitalizing (Drinking) - after hanging out til late night or after consuming glasses or cans of alcoholic beverages, beer etc.

A box of three masks costs 9,000₩ where as each mask costs 3,000₩. As far as I know, they are available to purchase at Korean Beauty drugstores such as Olive Young and LOHB. 3,000₩ for one mask is a bit high up for me, fortunately, they are only 1,500₩ each during sales. So I recommend that you should get them when they are on sales!

I love the feel and look of the packaging, it is matte. The designs are illustrated and delivered well according to each types. My favorite design has to be the Pore Care (Dessert).

I actually already posted reviews of each on my Instagram, but I am posting it again in my blog so that it is easier for the internet people to find reviews of these on Google search. I cannot find the English ingredients of these masks though.

Highly-elastic, non-sticky gel-type essence facial mask - I don't find it to be highly elastic, it is true that it is non-sticky. the actual mask sheet is not in gel type. the texture of the mask feels like mesh (delicate) and contains essence that has a gel consistency.

Innovative Skin Technology
"The essence claims to create a powerful moisture protestant shield over skin. The essence contains AMF (Artificial Moisturizing Factor), a synthetic agent that resembles skin's natural moisturizing agents. It also contains Desert Blend, a mix of extracts from plants that grow in extremely dry climates. The essence helps skin maintain a healthy oil-moisture balance."

"AMF (Artifical Moisturizing Factor) Water Wrap is an active agent that gives the product's moisturizing effect a boost. This helps the skin maintain its optimum condition for longer periods of time. It also helps the skin build a stronger protective barrier against dry weather conditions so that it holds on to its moisture. The AMF Water Wrap is a convenient product that can be used on all skin types." - Taken from the booklet given.

The fit of the mask is a bit big for me especially along the hairlines, but it actually adhered well.
Please be aware that the results of the masks may differ on different inidivual, the results concluded below are my own personal opinion and experiences.

Ultrue I'm Sorry For My Skin Jelly Mask Brightening Review

Leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. There was a bit of brightening. It gave me a bit of a dewy/glowy finish. This smells like a nice liquid floor cleansers.

Ultrue I'm Sorry For My Skin Relaxing Review

Smells like lavender, I love it. Left my skin feeling soft and moisturized. After using it for the second time, I think it calms and soothes redness and my troubled areas.

Ultrue I'm Sorry For My Skin Revitalizing Review

Has a lavender scent. Skin feels moisturized, feels soft, bumps on my forehead are gone and became smoother, healthy looking skin. I think my face looked awakened too.

Ultrue I'm Sorry For My Skin Pore Care Review

"Scent: Smells like bathroom/floor liquid cleaners, but in a pleasant kind of way. Infact, I have an obsession with nice/perfumey household liquid cleaner scents. I love sniffing them. Time: approx 30mins.

Results: this one is far by the most hydrating and moisturizing compared to the Relaxing and Brightening ver which I've tried previously. It leaves my skin feeling soft. The next morning, my already visible pores on the cheeks appeared more visible. I was like wth?? Thankfully, the effect lasts only for awhile. My pore size became normal after applying my AM skincare routine." copied pasted from my IG review.

I gotta say that this is my least favorite type. I was scared to use it again so I gave away to Oppa and my cousin. My cousins did not see any tremendous effect while using it. I am not sure if Oppa has used it yet, he have not given me his review. Haha.

All masks have a yellowy gel essence (yellow color does not appear well in the above photo since it is influenced by flash), the scent can be sensitive to some people but I really like it, I could sniff it all along. The remaining essence is too generous, the sheetmask stated that it contains 33ml of essence. In the photo above, I squeezed out the masks' essence and it managed to fully cover the 'surface' of a small tub that can hold 30ml of the product. Not sure how much I squeezed out though, maybe abour 15~20ml?? I can reuse the essence for a few days! I also applied the essence time to time at night, especially since I always stay up late, I like to reapply moisturizer until my face feels 'chok chok' - Korean term for moist and plump skin.

Will I purchase?
I would purchase all types except for Pore Care.

Thank you Imine Skincare for providing me with these masks! I really enjoyed my first experience with a gel essence mask, that is what makes it special from common sheet masks. Do check out their Instagram @imine_skincare or their official website at
