[REVIEW] Makeup Revolution London Amazing Lipstick Rebel With Cause & 100% Vamp

Ahhh....finally, a deserving weekend.

Hiiiii! Hows everyone's week so far??
Mine has been just fine, it has been 5 days since school started and I am enjoying most of my class sessions to date though at times I feel sleepy haha and it seems like our class has gotten great lecturers so far!

Makeup Revolution London Amazing Lipstick Rebel With Cause Review

Makeup Revolution London Amazing Lipstick 100% Vamp Review

Makeup Revolution's Amazing Lipstick Rebel With Cause is the first makeup product that I tried from the brand (and I've fallen inlove with it). I bought the lipstick along with Rimmel London's blusher brush from a local makeup seller @naturecarebeauty on Instagram. The brush is my first possession from the brand Rimmel London too. The lipstick was SGD6 and the brush is SGD5.
Rebel With Cause. This lipstick is said to be a dupe for MAC's Rebel.
Since I am amazed with Rebel With Cause, I decided to purchase 100% Vamp.

There are 30 shades of lipsticks available from Makeup Revolution's Amazing Lipstick line ranging from nudes to brights and mattes to creamy to suit everyone's taste. There are 2 collections from the line, which are The Scandalous Collection (full of neon and brights) while The Vamp Collection is full of trend purple and dark shades. So far I have purchased 2 lipsticks from their Vamp Collections, YEAY! (yet I need MORE). All of their lipsticks contain the same ingredients (refer below):

Ingredients: Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Paraffin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Petrolatum, Microcrystalline Wax, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin

May contain:  Titanium Dioxide(CI 77891), Red 6(CI 15850), Red 7 Lake(CI 15850:1), Red 27 Lake(CI 45410), Iron Oxides(CI 77491), Iron Oxides(CI 77499)
The packaging looks just simple with wording of 'Makeup Revolution' in reflective gold printing and I like how the lipstick displays the color of the lipstick at the bottom, so I can easily see and pick the color that I want from my lipsticks compartment.
Rebel With Cause
100% Vamp
Pictures above were taken under the natural daylight, Rebel With Cause looks like bright pink wile 100% Vamp looks like deep burgundy plum color???(but  the real application on the lips look different). Amazing thing about the lipsticks is that it has somekind of leopard prints on the lipstick itself!!!! Its my first time seeing a lipstick with printings.
Rebel With Cause looks purple when it is not under a natural lighting. The 2 photos above are taken indoors.
Rebel With Cause swatch under a natural daylight. Looks pinkish~
100% Vamp swatch above looks EXACTLY like how it is on when worn on the lips
The actual color of Rebel With Cause is violety purple + hot pink but more towards the purple side. 100% Vamp is a dark purple which gives you somekind of vampire/witchy vibe.
Rebel With Cause on my lips. Oh. My. Gosh. I just love this color. It is just so beautiful. I haven't had any colors like this (same goes to 100% Vamp) and I am happy that I bought them. Texture feels like satin (same like MAC's Rebel!), it is easy to apply and it glides smoothly. And oh, THEIR AMAZING LIPSTICKS SMELL LIKE BUBBLEGUM. NO JOKE, I can't stop myself from sniffing them.
Full face featuring Rebel With Cause. The picture above is featured in one of my Instagram posts a week ago. I must say that the color suits me. YIPPEY!
The lipstick fades a bit after eating and drinking, it only fades at the inner part of the lips. It looks like a beautiful gradient instead, haha. You only have to retouch the inner part of your lips!
The color accentuates on the cracks of the lips making it look darker but actually it is not really visible in real life. The picture above is upclose with an aid of flash, thats why 100% Vamp becomes lighter. Anyway, I love this color. It is daring and gives you the 'badass/urban street girl' look. The color somehow looks almost similar like MAC's Cyber. So 100% Vamp is a dupe for MAC's Cyber?? Maybe yes!
My full face with 100% Vamp~
My final thoughts on Makeup Revolution London Amazing Lipsticks;
I can't even choose my favorite color between Rebel With Cause and 100% Vamp. Their smooth and silky texture makes it easy to glide on the lips, it is moisturizing and the color pay off is awesome. The lipsticks smell like bubblegum. Did I mention that the lipsticks only costed £1 in the UK?? AND THEY ARE ONLY £0.75 DURING SALES. My fellow Brits, I am so envious of you guys. You guys are so lucky! Though the lipsticks are affordable, the quality is good and reasonable. The lipsticks does not dry out on my lips either and it is easy to remove. I am so getting more of their lipsticks. Makeup Revolution is a UK cosmetics brand that is WORTH investing in! I heard so so many good reviews of their other products too. Some of their eyeshadow palettes are dupes for Urban Decay Naked Palettes and Too Faced Palettes. Quickly check them out at

Pros +

♥ Has bubblegum scent
♥ Moisturizing
♥ Easy to remove with makeup remover

My Rating:

LaF Skin 7 Solutions Ampoules x Adventure Time Collaboration Review

Rejoice, Adventure Time lovers!
Ofcourse I was intrigued when I saw this collaboration. To be really honest, I wasn't so interested in the brand before the collaboration come out since their previous packaging looked plain. I guess cute packaging makes it, huh?
I only asked LaF(Lost and Found), the company, about the Jake ampoule (Pore & Calming) since it is related to my skin concern, but they are soooo generous to send me 3 ampoules, 2 sheetmasks and couple of cute Adventure Time stickers!!!!! It was unexpected and my heart's content was (and always) filled with joy when I receive surprise gifts. Thanks, LaF! I use the stickers to decorate my boring laptop.❤

April Skin Magic Snow Cushion (Black) SPF50 PA+++ #23 Natural Beige Review We all have seen the most popular April Skin Magic Snow Cushion in the past few months, and its popularity is still ongoing until now. I am seeing their promotional pictures and videos literally everywhere, the product is claiming to provide a full coverage with just one layer. Immediate whitening, evening of skin tone and covering imperfections, who wouldn't want that? Of course, just like any other gullible person, I am intrigued by the promotional efforts and always eyeing on the cushio…
